Hardware wallets are considered the safest way to store Bitcoin and crypto assets. The seed phrase stored in them is not in contact with the internet, but within the device. This protects your assets from hacker attacks, but also ensures usability, as you can easily sign transactions. The wallets are password-protected, which offers an extra level of security against theft.
Despite the quality of the hardware wallets, it is advisable to create a backup copy of the seed phrases in case of a malfunction or clerical error. If your wallet is lost or destroyed, you lose access to your assets without a backup. We recommend using one of our backup tools, such as protection cards and steel capsules, to make a backup copy.
