The CRYPTOSTEEL Capsule is made of stainless steel and is designed as a capsule for the safe storage of information with a capacity of up to 123 characters. It is designed to store a word seed, known as a “seed phrase”, for Bitcoin according to the BIP39, BIP32, SLIP39 and WIF private key standards. The outer part of the capsule is made of AISI 303 steel, while the internal components are made of AISI 304 steel. The quality of the product is second to none. The capsule contains flexible spacers that allow 123 characters to be stored. The package also includes a set of ASCII characters that allow passwords to be written with numbers and symbols. All signs are deeply stamped for longevity and resilience. The capsule can thus store a random password without spacers, a 12-word mnemonic seed or the first 4 letters of a 24-word mnemonic seed (or 25-word for Monero). The Cryptosteel Capsule is a way of standardising information protection. The package comes with everything you need for secure storage. No additional tools are required. The font used is a classic one, which will be legible even after 10 or 1000 years. The Cryptosteel Capsule is packed in a strong cardboard box and the steel signs in transparent plastic. The packaging makes it easy to organise and find the characters for the password. The remainder of the signs need not be discarded, as the partially random number of signs in the packaging makes it impossible to deduce from the remainder which signs have been used.
